Home Security

A burglary is committed every 12 seconds so you should think twice when you lock your gates and front doors and you feel safe from being burglarized. Thieves will always search for homes with less barriers and in an unprotected house they could run in really fast and grab whatever they can and get out in just a couple of minutes. If you have windows in corners that are not facing the main street try to prevent them from opening with metal dowels or latches.

Try to install security systems that take note of disturbances in the windows if someone from the outside is trying to force them and starts the alarms. You could also install grills and iron bars to your home windows too. Burglars could watch homes for several days in a row and they will always try to break in when no one is home. If you live in a bad neighborhood it would be great if you would start a neighborhood watch.

So… do you still think that only locking your doors will be enough for your home security? DONOTCHANGE

DONOTCHANGE The decreasing prices of flat panel tv’s has resulted in larger screens for many homes. The most used location for these to be placed, estimated at 75%, is above the fireplace in the central room of the household. The increase in size both designers and women have been having stern problems with a 50-70? black glass object as the central piece and main focal point of the living room.

Although it is only a visual or mechanical change when the TV is hidden, to most it can change the entire atmosphere of any room. Even when the display is turned off, attention is either consciously or unconsciously drawn towards the blank television screen. This is not just a figment of peoples imaginations, it is real, and it can have a direct effect on both the décor and atmosphere of the room. …click here to read more
