Anima Chairs

Now this is definitely a unique thought with the new ideas of an Anima chair. The designers at Blubau have tried it and managed to create a wonderful piece of furniture for the fanciest living room. The Anima Chair, as Yotam Shabtai and Lidor Gilad chose to name it is made entirely out of stainless steel. The chair was specially designed to copy the human body and its lines; therefore, even though you might not think that steel is able to make a chair one of the most comfortable ones, you would be amazed of how much comfort this chair brings you. What is so special about this chair is the fact that it is quite puzzling to see exactly how it was created because, looking at it one cannot seem to find the part where the pieces were welded together. The entire chair seems to be made out of a single strip of steel whirled and twisted in the form of a chair. We have tried to look for as much as a single spot that would give away the pace where the chair was welded and had no luck. The finishes are exquisite and this chair would bring a touch of style into any modern living room.

Check out this crazy shower design using Chromo therapy. This is probably one of the most innovative ideas of shower designs ever created. The combine light with water in such a way that you can even imagine you are showering in light. The shower comes in a rectangular shape, most probably a square, mounted on the ceiling or they can be fitted on a modern tub. The water comes in the way of a rain shower, one cannot change the way in which the water will pour as it is the case with regular showers, however, despite this little inconvenience, the hues of light make up for this shortage. One can choose from different colors giving a sense of wellness and serenity, as one should have in their bathrooms. The relaxation that these showers provide is amplified by the chromo therapy induced by the smooth lighting. Not only that these showers are functional and give you the maximum of relaxation a shower can give you, their fashionable design make them best suited in a modern bathroom with plenty of space to bring them to their right value. Moreover, their unique design allows you to use the once enclosed space used by the shower cabin, in a more imaginative and modern way.

Have you ever heard of an invisible table? The designer that had the idea of creating such a table was most certainly inspired by the great illusionists. This table is transparent from top to bottom and even more so, it looks as if a glass table cloth is covering an invisible support. This table, or table cloth depending on how you want to call it, would fit perfectly in a modern living room and would increase the feeling of space and elegance even if your room is not really one of the biggest there are. The table is handmade so the designer can assure you of having a unique piece of furniture in your home and can support up to 55 lbs. To this end, the designer has used 4mm thick PMMA acrylic this material allowing him to mould it to the desired shape. The simple design of this table only adds value to the interesting shape it has, and the transparency saves you the trouble of finding a match for your favorite color you chose for the walls. The optical illusion this table gives you is fantastic and would make this particular item in your home become one of the most admired in your living room by far.

We never saw this coming, but it seems that a new trend in bathroom design is with wooden sinks and finishes. Wood is a rather awkward material to find in a bathroom particularly because of the risk factors: water and moist. Some of the most visionary designers have taken a deep breath and introduced this much feared material in the bathroom with a very exquisite result. Will they become the new pioneers of bathroom furbishing? It is not highly unlikely. However, due to the fact that the wood has little resistance in the bathroom environment, some might certainly not have it as their first choice when designing theirs. Despite that fact, here you have some inspiring examples of a fortunate combination of stainless steel and wood for your bathroom. It looks beautiful and classic and gives your kitchen a touch of history if you add to this a sink vanity with legs or a mirror with wooden framing. Given the texture of this material, it would not be a long term investment but most certainly one full of hassle. For those daring enough to consider using wooden materials in the bathroom, it is very important to know that they should expect the need for early refinishing and reliable water proof materials.
